Ravindra Kumar Singh, born 1965, has done his graduation from Bhagalpur University in 1987, post graduation in 1992 from IIT BHU, Varanasi and Ph. D. from IIT Kanpur, Kanpur in 2002. With a total experience of more than 30 years, he is presently a Professor (HAG) of Electrical Engineering at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad at Allahabad, India. He has been associated with a number of administrative duties such as faculty in-charge of Purchase, President of Students activities centre, Head of Department (HOD) and Dean of Students Welfare. Presently He is Dean(Academic) for a period of 2 years starting from September 2019. Prof. Singh has been chairman of the joint chapter of IEEE power electronics,IE & control at MNNIT Allahabad. Prof. Singh has acted as Chairman of Electrical Supply, Works & Maintenance (ESWM) of the institute. He has been a gold medallist of graduation and has been awarded outstanding power engineer from IEEE U.P. section. He was a participant of the Indo-UK REC project and worked in Liverpool John Moores University, UK. Prof. Singh has also worked in Acxiom Corporation, Little Rock, Arkansas, USA in 2003-04. He is a member IEEE and Fellow, Institution of Engineers (India). His areas of interest are DC- DC converter, Electrical Drive & its applications. He has published more than 70 papers in Journals and conferences and supervised more than 50 Masters thesis, 15 numbers of Doctoral thesis work in different areas.
